Death of an Avid Reader – Book Launch at the Leeds Library

The launch of Death of an Avid Reader will be on Saturday, 4 October at 11 a.m. in the historic Leeds Library, 18 Commercial Street, Leeds LS1 6AL.

The oldest surviving subscription library in the country, it was established in 1768 and has made its home on Commercial Street since 1808.

This architectural gem forms part of the setting for Death of an Avid Reader. The sixth Kate Shackleton story sees multi-tasking Kate take on an assignment to search for a long-lost daughter. She also, reluctantly, joins a ceremony to help lay the library’s ghost.

There will be coffee and cake. The event is open to everyone but it’s necessary to book, by email or phone: enquiries@theleedslibrary.org.uk (0113) 245 3071.

Look forward to seeing you!
